This is how I structure marketing roles, tasks, and teams

Hey! Kevin here.

Recently, I have been spending a lot of time helping clients plan, delegate, and build teams around core skills, so I thought I’d do a quick video explaining how I help visualize who does what on a marketing team.

The bigger you get, the more moving parts there are. And as a marketing strategy consultant, my job is to help organize and prioritize the moving parts. To facilitate (make easier) the execution.

In this video, I walk through how I visually assign ownership to channels and tasks based on skills available, and how to spot bottlenecks in workflows before they even happen.

It relies on a combination of assigning channel ownership, who owns the execution within that, and having pre-defined skill-sets (people) on hand to do almost any project easily.

It will make more sense when you watch it, but this is a good tool whether you’re a consultant, CEO, or head of marketing.

Watch the video here on YouTube (and subscribe to the channel!).
